Brake Break-In Procedure:

1. Perform 5 moderate-to-aggressive stops from 40 mph to 10 mph in quick succession. Avoid letting the brakes cool or coming to a complete stop.
2. Complete 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in succession. Expect a slight resin smell as the brakes heat up.
3. After the procedure, drive for about 5 minutes at moderate speed without using the brakes excessively. This allows the brakes to cool naturally.
4. Once cooled, brakes can be used normally. Never cool brakes with water, as this can cause damage.
