The stock differential bushings on the Lexus IS300 (2001-2005) are not designed to handle high-grip or high-power situations. Over time, soft bushings can lead to issues like wheel hop and flex, potentially damaging the axle and other drivetrain components. Xcessive Manufacturing's solid urethane bushings offer a durable solution that enhances stability and performance in demanding conditions.

General Fitment and Installation:

• The factory subframe features molded metal cups, where the new bushings will snugly fit.
• The stock bushings must be completely removed for proper installation. After thoroughly cleaning the subframe, simply tap the new bushings into place.
• Important: These bushings are side-specific, so ensure proper alignment of the holes for correct side-to-side placement.

Materials:

• Crafted from 70 Shore D urethane, similar to Nylon, providing excellent stiffness without excessive road noise.
• The bushings incorporate a cast-in steel insert for bolt passage, offering durability and noise/vibration absorption without deflection.
• These bushings are as stiff as aluminum but without the harsh road noise typically associated with metal bushings. While you may notice slightly more road noise than with soft rubber bushings, the overall performance improvements make this a worthwhile trade-off.
