These are a must have!! If your car seat or high car doesn’t have shoulder pads, GET THESE! My daughters high car and car seat straps would dig into her skin and leave red marks so we got these and i do not regret it. They are super soft and easy to put on. I don’t remember if they had an odor before I washed them but to be honest you should be washing everything you just bought so even if it had an odor, it would be washed anyways. I got the smallest ones for my 6 month old and they are the perfect size. They are somewhat thick but it doesn’t concern me or make my daughter uncomfortable. It actually helps when she falls asleep in her car seat, it keeps her head up and not leaning to the sides. At first I wasn’t sure about them because they could slide up and down the straps but once they are placed where you put them, they stay. HIGHLY RECOMMENDWe purchased this to prevent highchair straps from digging into our baby's neck. They work wonderful, no more red marks on baby from the highchair straps. When they get dirty, they are easy to clean by placing in a laundry bag and running through the washer (hang dry).These padded covers are very soft and easy to attach to the car seat straps. However, they didn't work for my newborn. There's not a lot of car seat strap to work with when you have a newborn, so because these covers are so thick I couldn't put these on and tighten the straps tight enough on my newborn. I'm still keeping them because they will be useful once my baby gets a little bit bigger and there is more strap to work with, and they are really soft and will keep my baby from getting those dang lines on his neck from the seat belt. Just have to wait for him to get a little bigger for them to be useful.Well made and comfortable for baby.Easy to install, soft and comfortable for the straps.Easy to use and Velcro seems to last despite my some playing with them during longer car rides. These are on the thinner side compared to other brands but I like that as they less bulky while still protecting my son’s neck. I highly recommend these.These strap covers are extremely soft. We bought to replace our car seat ones since we misplaced one. They are great except they are very bulky for our baby.Liked that it is very soft and I got the small one and it was the perfect size.
