I travelled alone through the airport with an infant (5 months) all thanks to this bag. I carried my baby in a front carrier, the car seat in this bag over my shoulders, and my roller carry on with diaper bag attached to the roller.Carrying the car seat in this bag on my shoulders was heavy, but it was very doable. It felt balanced and there was enough cushion to keep it comfortable. I gate checked my car seat and this bag kept it safe and protected.The only thing I would like to have is padding on the top of the bag. There is padding around the other sides but not the top, so I added a blanket inside to keep the car seat extra padded.
