My sweet girl goes everywhere with me. There is a leash strap with this bag, but I don't recommend using it. It's very thin and I was carrying her one day and she got scared and pulled towards me (she's 5 pounds) and the leash strap broke. It was always very cheaply attached though and she can't pull very hard. The bow is super cute! She likes to lay her head where the bow is and I do wish that was a bit lower. The installation on the console was a bit of a challenge and it was impossible to get tight, but I think that's because of my console cover. Safety wise, maybe a 7/10.
